• Fill In Overnight Weekend Assignment Desk Editor
• Assist Assignment Desk Editor in all needs throughout shift
• Log/ Transcribe Press Conferences and other necessary media for reporters and producers
• Monitor BNNs, social media, and Citizen for breaking news
• Reach out to DCPI, FDNY, and applicable officials, departments, and people for reportable info
• Ensure daily stories, calendars, scripts, sickouts and all other elements are updated and organized in Wolftech
• Send reporter notes with all needed info (latest update, web copy, previous pkg scripts, etc)
• Send daily morning and night notes to newsroom
• Monitor broadcast and print competitors for daily ledes and other stories if needed
